About the Role

Alcon is hiring a Cataract Account Manager (Sr. Associate I, Surgical Field Sales) to drive the sales of surgical ophthalmic products. You will be responsible for achieving territory sales goals by building strong customer relationships and providing expert support.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve sales targets for specific accounts or territories.
  • Promote and sell Alcon products through various sales activities.
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and high-volume users.
  • Discover and develop new business opportunities.
  • Execute a sales plan and strategy.
  • Frequently visit customers and provide necessary support.
  • Participate in and conduct events and meetings to update customers on products, services, and prices.
  • Create and maintain a customer database.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis to maintain Alcon's product market share.
  • Provide timely reports and ensure accurate documentation of sales activities.
  • Establish a leadership role as local team lead for all activities.
  • Maintain and optimize relationships with existing key customers.
  • Implement feedback on competitor activities.
  • Prioritize and coordinate local meetings, ensuring adequate resources are available.
  • Uphold an excellent company image through personal presentation.
  • Ensure administrative duties are carried out for efficient territory operation.
  • Constantly upgrade knowledge of the company's specialties.
  • Maintain all relevant data in company systems.
  • Work efficiently and economically as a professional salesperson.
  • Identify equipment opportunities and support market development.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of proven sales experience
