JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring a Cash Management Consultant Senior to serve as a trusted advisor for Government and Not-for-Profit (GNP) clients within Business Banking. You will partner with Relationship and Development Managers to identify, propose, and deliver appropriate Cash Management products for entities with up to $50 million in annual revenue, ensuring an exceptional client experience while mitigating risk.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to develop new profitable Cash Management business and grow the existing portfolio.
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor by understanding client needs through strategic conversations and making recommendations around payments, receivables, and fraud within bank risk parameters.
- Leverage knowledge of Not-for-Profits, K-12 Schools, municipalities, and markets to develop business networks and prospects using Chase resources.
- Build collaborative internal relationships with Business Relationship Managers, Business Development Managers, Area Managers, Market Managers, and cross-functional peers.
- Act as the face of cash management in the assigned market, delivering thought leadership and hosting Continuing Professional Education events for Centers of Influence.
- Engage in a disciplined relationship development process, manage quality call activities, and leverage prospecting tools like RelPro and Vertical IQ.
- Prepare proposals for new-to-Chase clients using Seismic and Proformas.
- Work with the BRM/BDM and proposal team to respond to Government and Not-for-Profit RFPs.
- Leverage Product Team and Product Solutions Specialists to deliver client solutions and lead the new client journey end-to-end.
- Partner with clients to ensure successful implementation of Cash Management products and manage expectations by communicating timelines and deliverables.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Cash Management/Treasury Services or related business experience.
- Excellent relationship management and business development/sales skills.
- Excellent/strong selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent/strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, planning, and strategic thinking skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field.
- Certified Treasury Professional certified, or ability to obtain certification.
