Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Business Systems Analyst II or Sr. to act as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating requirements into effective system configurations to improve performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Lead the requirements gathering process to clearly identify business needs and opportunities.
- Conduct research and analysis to validate and prioritize objectives.
- Translate business requirements into detailed specifications, project plans, and documentation for IT teams and vendors.
- Coordinate with developers, architects, and vendors to configure and optimize enterprise applications.
- Perform thorough testing to ensure system functionality, performance, and user acceptance.
- Provide end-user support and guidance on application capabilities and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage project activities including requirements gathering, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Develop user documentation and training materials, and facilitate training sessions as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- For Business Systems Analyst II: 2-4 years of programming, systems or business analysis experience, including advanced SQL skills and enterprise application configuration.
- For Business Systems Analyst Senior: 4-6 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in complex analysis and system configuration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical abilities, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels and work collaboratively in teams.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and facilitation skills.
- Experience with process mapping and documentation.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
