Ashby is looking for a Business System Analyst for a contract position to lead system configuration for supply chain, SKU management, inventory, logistics, and field operations processes. You will facilitate business changes through process optimization and technology, with a focus on ERP and CRM improvements and integrations.
What You'll Do
- Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Field Operations, Inventory Planning, and eCommerce teams to understand and articulate business objectives.
- Develop business cases and identify opportunities leveraging automation and systems-based solutions.
- Execute requirements analysis, construct necessary diagrams and charts, and write specifications.
- Develop and maintain system documentation reflecting departmental process changes.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information trends.
- Manage backlogs, inbound requests, and bug management to support development resources.
- Partner with and manage third-party vendors; ensure timely resolution of issues and adhere to project budgets.
- Lead end-to-end project execution with partners and/or professional services.
- Communicate status updates with stakeholders and business technology leaders.
- Maintain technical knowledge through self-paced learning, assisted learning, or attendance at workshops.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years experience in an operations-related function.
- Technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a similar field.
- Exposure to transactional systems, primarily in ERP, EDI, and partner portals such as NetSuite, SPS Commerce, Salesforce, and DispatchTrack.
- Knowledge or experience with ETL pipelines and APIs.
- Process-oriented with strong Program Management skills and ability to define workflows, plan, execute, and document.
- Proactive and self-motivated in practicing and learning something new.
- Excellent problem solver with patience to ensure information gathered from the business is accurate.
- A solid communicator and active listener, with an eye for digging into root causes.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data and structuring data sets.
- Reasonable time zone flexibility to interface with global development teams.
