Cigna Healthcare is hiring a Business Project Advisor to drive meaningful change in our accounting and finance operations. In this hybrid role, you will lead process improvements, champion business readiness, and deliver impactful results by serving as a key liaison between Accounting, Finance, and business partners.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate accounting-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
- Drive business readiness by managing process impact assessments, communications, and stakeholder engagement for accounting teams.
- Integrate accounting processes, controls, and system reporting requirements into business initiatives to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
- Serve as a key liaison between Accounting, Finance, and business partners, providing clear communication on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Maintain project artifacts such as plans and status reports to support governance and transparency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and support adoption of best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with project coordination experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and project timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Self-starter, quick learner, and effective team player.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience supporting process improvement and change management initiatives.
