Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) / MUFG Bank Europe N.V. (MBE) is hiring a Business Manager CFO MBE to join the Finance Division in Amsterdam. This role provides direct strategic and operational support to the CFO and CFO Management Team, ensuring the business has a 'license to operate' through robust monitoring, reporting, and organizational development.

What You'll Do

• Support the CFO in executing and documenting responsibilities, and in developing a robust Finance organization to meet new business plans and regulatory changes.
• Establish and develop the strategy for the MBE Finance function alongside the CFO.
• Create and execute an MBE Finance-wide communications strategy with the CFO MT and Corporate Communications.
• Drive staff engagement and connectivity initiatives, and support oversight of financial control, resource planning, and governance.
• Challenge and support departmental budgeting and personnel management, tracking progress against plans and budgets.
• Provide strategic input and Management Information to senior finance members and other parts of the group.
• Manage the CFO’s workload, ensuring timely responses and delegation of tasks.
• Ensure key processes deliver quality, reliable information to support business growth and control procedures.
• Coordinate answers to regulatory questions and ensure timely delivery of quality responses to governance committee actions.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with stakeholders globally to share best practices and develop effective local policies.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of relevant experience in the banking or financial industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, numerical, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset with strong accountability, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to operate with urgency, prioritize work, manage large workloads to tight deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
• Structured, logical, creative, and innovative approach to work with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and visualize progress/status of the overall function.

Team & Environment

You'll be a member of the CFO Business Management Team, providing direct support to the CFO and CFO Management Team, and reporting directly to the CFO.
