About the Role

C and C Group is hiring a Business Development Specialist to drive revenue growth by selling IoT hardware, software, and services for managing and controlling electrical networks. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships through consultative selling and leading complex sales cycles by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute business development strategies for digital power and energy management solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key market segments.
  • Build strong relationships with electrical contractors, consulting engineers, distributors, and end-users.
  • Promote connected power products including metering, power quality systems, and energy monitoring software.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, marketing, and sales teams to support customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or technical sales.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
  • A passion for helping customers adopt digital, data-driven energy solutions.
  • Final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check (including criminal and motor vehicle history).

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution, energy management, or IoT solutions.
  • Experience in the electrical distribution or automation industry.

Work Mode

This role is based in the Midwest region and requires local-region travel.
