About the Role

AG Barr is hiring a Business Development Representative in Peterborough to support the Symbols & Independents business within our National Field Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving market share growth, brand distribution, and visibility across a defined portfolio of impulse outlets in your territory.

What You'll Do

  • Drive distribution of AG Barr Focus lines and ensure stores stock 'must stock' lines and new products.
  • Embed the energy portfolio and Focus 5 Brands to improve rate of sale and distribution.
  • Deliver sales KPIs including market share growth, scorecard improvement, new accounts opened, display placement, and availability.
  • Activate brand plans at a local level by selling and communicating plans to retailers.
  • Build relationships and work cross-functionally on targeted tactical activity drives.
  • Demonstrate market share growth in defined territory through scorecard improvement.
  • Present brands via prepared presentations to secure purchase commitments and educate retailers.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as order sheets and call reports.
  • Build brand awareness through excellent execution at the point of purchase.

What We're Looking For

  • A full driving licence.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and demonstrate good personal leadership.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work unsupervised.
  • Good standard of presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate internally using account performance data and demonstrate strong in-store execution.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Flexibility to attend monthly team meetings that may require overnights.

Team & Environment

This role sits within the National Field Sales Team and is part of a broader territory team, reporting to a Field Sales Manager.
