HireHawk is looking for a Business Development Representative (Bilingual English | Spanish) to fuel our marketplace growth. You'll be the voice introducing our platform to plumbers, electricians, painters, and other trade professionals across the Los Angeles area through strategic outreach and relationship building. This is a remote position working in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Generate qualified leads by identifying and conducting targeted outreach to trade professionals in the Los Angeles market.
- Execute strategic cold calling campaigns to connect with decision-makers and encourage vendor registration.
- Manage comprehensive follow-up sequences to ensure registered vendors complete required documentation.
- Track and analyze outreach performance while potentially designing and executing email marketing campaigns.
- Drive vendor acquisition growth by following proven sales scripts and adapting messaging.
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Minimum 2 years of documented B2B sales or lead generation experience.
- Hands-on experience generating leads within the Los Angeles metropolitan market.
- Professional experience in home services industries such as plumbing, electrical, construction, or renovation.
- Ability to effectively communicate with small business owners, contractors, and skilled trade professionals.
- Proven skill in identifying decision-makers and navigating organizational gatekeepers.
- Strong objection-handling skills with the ability to overcome common sales resistance.
- Proficient in managing and updating Google Sheets or comparable CRM systems for lead tracking.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience executing multi-channel follow-up sequences across phone and email.
Nice to Have
- Experience onboarding vendors onto digital marketplace platforms such as Angi, Thumbtack, or HomeAdvisor.
- Capable of managing email outreach campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Apollo, or HubSpot.
