About the Role

ScaleSource is hiring a Business Development Representative to drive franchise brand growth across Africa and Asia. You will own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to handoff, in a remote-first environment built on trust and execution.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect through cold and warm calls, text, email outreach, and LinkedIn messaging
  • Research franchise brands and build organized target lists
  • Conduct discovery calls and present solutions aligned with client hiring needs
  • Manage your pipeline, CRM entries, and follow-up sequences
  • Handle objections, close deals, and coordinate onboarding with recruiters
  • Stay involved post-sale to ensure expectations are met
  • Collaborate with marketing and web teams to optimize lead generation funnels
  • Test new tools, improve workflows, and bring new ideas to the table

What We're Looking For

  • Strong spoken English and confidence communicating on calls and video
  • Experience in outbound sales and cold calling
  • Comfort speaking with decision-makers and business owners
  • Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
  • Understanding of sales metrics, KPIs, and pipeline momentum
  • Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented personality
  • A self-starter who asks questions and takes initiative

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to U.S. markets
  • Franchise or service-based business experience
  • CRM experience (Zoho, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience building sales processes from scratch
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach strategies
