ScienceLogic was looking for a Business Development Representative

ScienceLogic is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing sales organization. You will be responsible for outbound prospecting and directly supporting our field sales teams, developing new business opportunities through metric-driven prospecting and rigorous opportunity qualification.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and aggressively identify sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calls, and relationship development.
  • Understand and effectively communicate ScienceLogic’s value propositions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and partners in the IT Operations sector.
  • Maintain detailed and consistent use of Salesforce.com with emphasis on lead process and development.
  • Generate leads by identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.
  • Quality all existing leads in Salesforce.com and other lead databases generated from sales, tradeshows, marketing, referrals, partners, website, consultants, and call campaigns.

What We're Looking For

  • Six months to one year of experience within an inside sales organization.
  • Effective time management, ability to reach decision-makers, and skill in qualifying sales opportunities.
  • Ability to call into different industries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Outreach, Cognism, and other sales playbooks.
  • Strong business development and communication skills combined with a basic understanding of technology infrastructure.
  • Superior tenacity and objection handling skills.

You will join a business development and sales organization made up of high-energy and self-motivated Sales Engineers, Account Executives, and Business Development Representatives who are embedded in the industries we serve. We are a dynamic group of results-driven individuals committed to a common goal of delivering technology solutions for hybrid cloud network monitoring.

Work Mode

This is a remote position open to candidates in Australia.
