About the Role

SGS Australia / Fulcrum Robotics is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead business development and sales support for our Specialty and PFAS laboratory services across Canada or the U.S. You will coordinate between management, product development, sales, and marketing to ensure we meet client needs while providing exceptional service and executing on product strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Meet or exceed revenue growth targets for SGS NAM Specialty and PFAS testing labs.
  • Develop relationships with key target clients at all levels in your assigned geography.
  • Create a sales funnel for key large projects.
  • Promote One SGS offerings across NAM EHS and globally.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify opportunities.
  • Create Strategic Partnerships beneficial to both SGS and clients.
  • Provide presentations to Decision Makers, Chemists, and Senior Leadership.
  • Develop relationships to create a 'Top Down' influence in client organizations.
  • Identify the organization structure and decision maker matrix for the regional sales team.
  • Partner with the internal SGS team to help identify solutions for client needs.
  • Identify service and product development opportunities based on client feedback.
  • Present state-of-the-art technology developments and innovative solutions.
  • Provide continual feedback on market needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing to organize client communication and collateral.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Physical and Environmental Sciences lab.

Team & Environment

You will coordinate between the management team, product development teams, sales teams, and marketing teams.

Work Mode

This role is based locally within your country and is open to candidates located in Canada or the U.S.
