RateHawk is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales efforts and expand our presence across North Africa. You will be responsible for forging strategic partnerships and consolidating our position in the local travel market. This is a remote role based in Algeria.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement sales activities to hit targets and achieve growth in the assigned territory.
- Sign up new partners, including tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs.
- Provide extended system training to new partners and follow up with existing ones to improve cooperation.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing partners.
- Perform account management and first-level support for an assigned portfolio of partners.
- Prepare, execute, and manage commercial deals, including required document flow and technical setup.
- Control partner compliance with commercial conditions, including payment flow.
- Spend approximately 30% of working time on business trips for client meetings and industry events.
- Provide market and competitive environment analysis and regular comprehensive reporting.
- Initiate API deals with potential and existing partners.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in the full sales life cycle within the travel industry.
- Focus on business development and account management of B2B companies.
- In-depth understanding of the North African travel market and B2B travel networks.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Location: Algeria.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Data-driven decision-making, metrics-driven, and comfortable with numbers.
- Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, and results-focused.
- Appetite for innovative technology and comfortable in a fast-changing business environment.
- Team player with the ability to work across a wide range of cultural contexts.
