TigerData is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead a growing team introducing our PostgreSQL platform to new customers. This is a hands-on, thought leadership role focused on shaping and scaling the outbound sales motion by incorporating AI, modern tools, and automation.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of Business Development Representatives.
- Build scalable, repeatable outbound processes and playbooks.
- Champion AI tools and techniques to enhance team productivity, efficiency and engagement.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to improve lead quality and pipeline efficiency.
- Create a world-class first-touch experience for prospective customers.
- Foster a strong team culture focused on curiosity, performance, and growth.
- Own and report on key metrics such as meetings booked, conversion rates, and outbound ROI.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop future outbound talent as we scale.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience leading outbound sales or BDR teams in B2B SaaS.
- Are curious about AI and love finding ways to make work more effective (and fun).
- Have managed both internal teams and outbound vendor relationships.
- Are excited to build; you bring structure to ambiguity and scale to what works.
- Are passionate about creating great experiences for both customers and employees.
- Believe in coaching through context, metrics, and continuous feedback.
- Are a strong communicator who builds trust across departments.
- Consistently test, iterate, and adapt quickly, scaling successful initiatives and discontinuing those that are not effective.
- English fluency is required.
Nice to Have
- Come from a developer tools or infrastructure company, ideally with exposure to databases, data infrastructure, or cloud-native products.
