About the Role

Quadient is hiring a Business Development Manager (Field Sales) for its Parcel Lockers Division in London. Join a new team dedicated to finding and securing host locations for parcel lockers, helping to build a brand-new business within an exciting, fast-paced environment. This is a regional role based anywhere within London, requiring travel with a minimum of 3 days per week on the road.

What You'll Do

  • Search for potential parcel locker locations and build relationships with businesses responsible for those spaces.
  • Assess location suitability based on footfall, access, parking, service connections, and security.
  • Reach a commercial agreement with the Host organisation.
  • Coordinate with internal onboarding and installation teams to support efficient locker deployment.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, including presenting contracts and compensation.
  • Secure necessary permissions for installation.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Host, ensuring they are prepared for installation and go-live.
  • Manage the successful post-onboarding and ongoing relationship with each Location Host.
  • Record all details and actions within Salesforce CRM.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Quadient internal departments.
  • Find and implement new processes to create efficiency in the location finding role.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of Parcel Pending by Quadient.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience identifying and securing commercial locations.
  • Strong background in field sales, business development, or relationship management.
  • Ability to assess site viability and negotiate complex agreements.
  • Excellent coordination and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

  • Background in the parcels or retail industry.
  • Highly tech-savvy.
  • Understanding of the challenges facing the eCommerce industry today.
