Nivoda is looking for a Business Development Manager - Diamonds to help scale our global B2B diamond marketplace. In this role, you will be a critical driver in expanding and managing our supplier network, ensuring our platform delivers exceptional quality, selection, and value for buyers worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and onboard high-quality suppliers that align with our category standards.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships to ensure supplier alignment with business goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier growth, success, and troubleshooting.
  • Use data to assess supplier performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide actionable feedback.
  • Drive suppliers to meet revenue targets by optimizing product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Work closely with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards, minimizing return rates and customer complaints.
  • Partner with category management, product, and operations teams to align on category objectives.
  • Develop training resources and guides to help suppliers understand best practices.
  • Implement growth initiatives based on category OKRs.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong communication skills with exceptional relationship-building and a consultative approach.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to guide decisions and performance improvements.
  • Customer-centric and quality-oriented commitment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and supplier growth.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B marketplaces, luxury retail, or tech-enabled marketplaces.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and optimizing supplier performance.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Supplier Category Manager, working within our category management team.

Work Mode

This role follows a hybrid work model and is based at our office in One BKC, Mumbai.
