About the Role

Henry Schein One LLC is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead organizational growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue through effective sales strategies. This role demands strong leadership and collaboration with sales, marketing, and senior management to ensure business success.

What You'll Do

  • Train and manage a business development team within specific territories to generate quality opportunities that result in closed bookings.
  • Set and achieve new opportunity creation and revenue targets.
  • Lead virtual teams and manage a moderately complex section of a department or process.
  • Track and report on business performance metrics, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.
  • Attract, hire, retain, motivate, develop, and mentor team members for high performance.
  • Work closely with the direct sales team to remove obstacles, improve processes, coach on product knowledge, and manage sales goals.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, positioning SaaS solutions effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new clients, products, or services.
  • Collaborate with sales and design teams to create compelling pitches and proposals.

What We're Looking For

  • Typically, 10 or more years of increasing responsibility in SaaS sales or business development, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • One plus years of management experience leading virtual teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop, and mentor team members.
  • Excellent sales process, verbal, written communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent independent decision making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills, and techniques.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management and strong negotiating skills.
  • Understanding of sales management including compensation plans, quotas, and coaching.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.

Team & Environment

You will manage a business development team and lead virtual teams. The role involves managing a moderately complex section of a department, a small department, large process, or multiple smaller processes. You'll collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, customer success teams, and report to senior management.

  • Compensation range: $54,000.00 to $75,000.00
