About the Role

Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, is hiring a Business Development Manager to deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial targets within our aesthetics portfolio. You will build trusted relationships with customers and execute strategic plans to achieve our commercial objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed goals.
  • Create precall plans using SMART objectives and execute postcall evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
  • Effectively handle objections and consistently gain logical calls to action to close sales.
  • Proactively serve customer needs and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements.
  • Develop and execute a call plan that optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales.
  • Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, and market dynamics to share intelligence with the team.
  • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and develop disease state experts and speakers/advocates.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, a business-related field, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
  • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approach quickly.
  • Operates effectively in a matrix environment.

Nice to Have

  • Proven track record of success in sales performance within respective therapeutic areas.
  • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experiences such as physician/account based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing.
  • English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries).
