DuckWorks is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand and strengthen relationships with architectural millwork and casework manufacturers across North America. You'll work closely with the Founder and CEO, gradually taking ownership of business development, client relationships, and new opportunity generation.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Conduct discovery calls and in-person client meetings
- Identify opportunities for full-time drafting placements and project-based support
- Travel regularly to visit clients and prospects across North America
- Represent DuckWorks at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up plans
- Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure smooth sales-to-delivery handoffs
- Learn DuckWorks’ drafting and engineering workflows
- Contribute to refining sales messaging and go-to-market strategy
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience
- Comfortable with frequent travel
- Strong relationship-building skills (consultative, not transactional)
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently as a primary U.S.-based team member
Nice to Have
- Millwork, cabinet manufacturing, estimating, engineering, or project management experience
- Exposure to shop-floor or CNC environments
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, or Mozaik (even at a high level)
- Experience attending AWI, IWF, KBIS, or similar industry events
Team & Environment
This role reports directly to the CEO.

This position is based locally within the U.S.
