Perfetti Van Melle is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sustainable growth across assigned countries. In this role, you will be responsible for leading distributor strategy, strengthening route-to-market execution, and delivering superior commercial and operational performance.
What You'll Do
- Set, execute and monitor growth plans to expand sales, distribution, and market share, ensuring performance goals are achieved.
- Lead, collaborate with, and motivate distributor teams, holding them accountable to deliver targets and build capabilities.
- Optimise route-to-market and drive best-in-class in-store execution.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and trade spend to maximise profitability and ROI.
- Align internal teams and partners to ensure robust planning, seamless execution, solid results, and the identification of new growth opportunities.
- Leverage market data and insights to identify new growth opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in the FMCG industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
- Strong team leadership and management skills, with deep route-to-market and in-market expertise.
- Proven ability to grow market share, expand channels, and drive strategic relationships.
- Experience with P&L ownership, budget and trade spend management, forecasting, and delivering profitable growth.
Nice to Have
- An MBA is a plus.
