About the Role

At Stanford Medicine Children's Health, we combine advanced technologies with family-centered care to heal humanity, one child and family at a time. We are hiring a Business Analyst, Design and Construction to drive analysis, manage business transactions, and execute projects for our Administration GS and Space Management department.

What You'll Do

  • Perform data analysis and summarize findings for management.
  • Prepare responses to data requests and assist with audits from agencies like the Joint Commission.
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data to capture trends and operational impacts.
  • Review budgets and analyze/report on budget variances with the Business Operations leader.
  • Work closely to improve clinical and non-clinical documentation practices.
  • Process and reconcile billing, vendor invoices, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and payment requests, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and accuracy.
  • Maintain contract, vendor, labor charges, and project documentation in financial or project tracking systems; ensure files are current and auditable.
  • Maintain policies and procedures and ensure adherence.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy, including developing training materials for billing and invoicing procedures.
  • May manage assigned projects in the designated department.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • Service focus towards managers and operations staff.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail; experience extracting, summarizing, and analyzing data.
  • Ability to recognize problems and collaboratively develop and implement solutions.
  • Escalates issues to management when appropriate.
  • Able to work well both autonomously and as a team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
