Solventum is looking for a Business Analyst to provide ongoing support and improvements for our project management software platform (Accolade). You'll work closely with the organization to drive system initiatives, deliver enhancements, and provide day-to-day support for modules including Resource Allocation, Phase Gate Deliverable & Task Tracking, and Reporting.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for the organization, addressing Accolade-related resource allocation compliance needs and providing timely resolutions.
- Ensure the integrity of resource planning data by monitoring user compliance, investigating discrepancies, and implementing solutions.
- Help implement extended use of the Accolade system by assisting with roll-out of risk-based project planning and critical path scheduling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Resource Planning and Reporting modules.
- Document and track issues, solutions, and improvements to provide a knowledge base for future support.
- Work closely with the platform team to understand business requirements, provide user support, and ensure system configurations align with organizational goals.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of new features, functionality, and module upgrades by following established processes.
- Participate in cross-team meetings to align on priorities, project timelines, and best practices.
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Accolade modules based on business needs.
- Support system updates, testing, and deployment activities to ensure smooth transitions during upgrades.
- Ensure that workflows, business processes, and security roles are accurately configured to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with the organization to drive global initiatives and provide support for ongoing projects, including process improvements.
- Participate in system testing for new releases, changes, and enhancements.
- Assist with documenting project requirements, processes, and procedures to ensure proper system utilization.
- Assist with development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards to support business requirements.
- Assist with extracting, validating, and analyzing data to support business decision-making and compliance.
- Collaborate with the reporting team to create custom reports or modify existing ones based on user feedback.
- Provide training and guidance to business teams and system users on Accolade best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on processes and system changes to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest enhancements to increase system efficiency.
- Proactively address potential issues by analyzing trends, preparing solutions, and collaborating with the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND four (4) or more years of experience in IT, engineering, science, business, or a related field
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND eight (8) or more years of experience in IT, engineering, science, business, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in Power BI and Microsoft Excel to support multiple Accolade reports

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify system issues, resolve problems, and offer solutions.
- Proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Excel reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address system functionality and handle system issues efficiently.
- Experience supporting system upgrades, new functionality, and process improvements.
- Strong experience in creating and maintaining custom reports and dashboards in Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
