National General Holdings Corp., a member of the Allstate family of companies, is looking for a Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster. In this role, you will investigate automobile accidents involving property damage and bodily injury where attorney representation or litigation is involved. Your primary focus will be assessing coverage, liability, and damages while negotiating fair settlements and providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
What You'll Do
- Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involved.
- Assess coverage, liability, and damages for each claim.
- Provide exceptional customer service through voice calls, email, and text messages.
- Utilize innovative platforms and tools to negotiate fair and timely injury settlements with all parties.
- Handle a high volume of pending cases efficiently.
- Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the claims management system.
- Interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and apply relevant state regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Prior represented third-party casualty claim handling experience.
- Ability to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license (if required by state) within 60 days of hire.
- Proficient communication skills, with a strong emphasis on phone-based interaction.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently.
- Proficient knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, liability determination, and state regulations.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation.
Nice to Have
- Claims experience in SC, NC, or AL.
- Claims experience in FL, GA, NV, TX, or CA.
- 2-5 years of moderate/complex Bodily Injury claim handling experience.
- Prior litigation claims experience.
- Experience with first-party collision and third-party property damage claims.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
