Block, Inc. is hiring a Banking Program Manager to join Square Financial Services, Inc. (SFS), our internal bank. In this role, you will own the relationship with product teams across Block to build SFS into Block's Bank of Choice. You will report to the Strategy and Business Development Lead and work closely with other SFS teams.
What You'll Do
- Own the SFS relationship with other Block product teams for the programs you'll oversee.
- Onboard new products into the SFS ecosystem.
- Understand the products, business strategy and roadmap for the Block Business Units you support.
- Ensure the Bank's strategy and business development team is apprised of developments in product areas.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement & deliver on the product roadmap.
- Oversee change management for assigned products across marketing, operational customer communications, credit, and user experience.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to identify risks and recommend solutions that meet cross functional goals.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure product development aligns with SFS policy and regulatory, legal, and operational standards.
- Lead remediation of issues including self identified issues, audit and compliance findings.
- Support Bank Management through Safety and Soundness examinations.
- Identify, create and present business generation metrics for management and board reporting for the programs you support.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 8+ years of operations / business development / program management / relationship management or equivalent experience related to financing solutions / banking as a service.
- Experience with consumer or commercial lending products.
- Experience resolving complex and multi party negotiations.
- Growth mindset and works well with limited supervision across a wide range of key stakeholders.
- Ability to lead by influence to foster trust across the organization.
- Strong project management, relationship management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and launch of new products and services.
- Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risk across regulatory compliance, legal, credit and operations.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams that have ambiguous requirements.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Target Compensation: Zone A: $122,900—$184,300 USD; Zone B: $114,200—$171,400 USD; Zone C: $108,200—$162,200 USD; Zone D: $98,300—$147,500 USD
