Rallye Motor Company is hiring an Automotive Technician / Mechanic - BMW Entry Level to join our Rallye BMW team. This position provides a foundational role focusing on tire services and shop operations, ensuring vehicle quality and supporting the service department.

What You'll Do

• Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health.
• Recommend appropriate repair treatment or replacement of tires.
• Repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
• Install new tires.
• Balance tires and complete wheel alignment procedures.
• Conduct roadside repairs.
• Examine vehicles to identify necessary repair or maintenance items not on the repair order.
• Communicate findings and any changes to the Service Advisor promptly.
• Clearly and accurately document all work performed.
• Road test vehicles as required.
• Perform only work authorized by customer or warranty.
• Work and enter third-party tire claims through various electronic applications.
• Test-drive all vehicles to ensure repair completion and communicate discrepancies.
• Inspect all work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Charge all vehicle batteries.
• Move vehicles in and around the shop.
• Assist in towing non-running vehicles.
• Maintain shop organization including equipment, tools, supplies, and parts.

What We're Looking For

• A clean and valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Basic mechanical skills and manual dexterity.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment.
• Professional personal appearance.

Nice to Have

• NYS Inspectors license.
• Experience with Hunter machines.
• High volume tire mounting experience.

You will be part of the Rallye BMW team, reporting to the Service Advisor and Service Manager.
