National General (Allstate) is hiring an Auto Material Damage Claims Leader to remotely lead a team of adjusters handling Florida-specific auto damage claims. You will be responsible for providing exceptional claims service, managing team performance, and implementing operational initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Manage and motivate a team of 6–9 adjusters or vendors handling auto damage claims for Florida.
- Provide exceptional claims and inquiry service, primarily through chat.
- Support the implementation of operational initiatives to achieve business objectives.
- Develop strategies to achieve employee performance levels and expert execution of claim processes.
- Monitor staffing levels and workloads, provide coaching and mentoring, and participate in performance reviews.
- Manage customer conflicts and assist with establishing unit goals and objectives.
- Deliver compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy to ensure customer retention.
- Frequently participate in special projects as a subject matter expert.
- Manage and oversee the performance of vendors.
- Oversee response to highly complex arbitrations contentions.
- Oversee the negotiation of highly complex claim settlements.
- Oversee the resolution of highly complex customer conflicts or issues.
- Analyze unit reports and support the achievement of business unit objectives.
- Define, analyze, and track department, section, and/or unit measures.
- Review employee work quality and interactions with customers through ride-alongs, sit-alongs, and file reviews.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with supervisory duties.
Nice to Have
- A 4-year Bachelor's Degree.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Previous Florida Auto Damage claims handling experience.

You will manage a team of 6–9 adjusters, providing direct oversight and support for their work and development.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $62,800.00 - $105,140.00 annually.
