Etsy is seeking an Audience & Signals Specialist focused on Paid Social Support to join the Customer Personalization & Intelligence team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in brand and growth marketing, campaign management, and audience storytelling across platforms like Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok. You’ll thrive in connecting creative strategies with data-driven audience targeting.
What You'll Do
- Build, manage, and optimize audiences across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and other paid social platforms.
- Translate brand and growth objectives into compelling audience strategies.
- Drive creative audience targeting decisions—understanding who to reach, why they matter, and how messaging should resonate.
- Partner with media planners to deliver storytelling-driven campaigns.
- Coordinate tagging, QA, and campaign setup processes to ensure seamless execution.
- Work with analytics and MarTech teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of signals feeding into paid social campaigns.
- Use signal and audience data to advise creative strategies, optimize campaign outcomes, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with creative, brand marketing, and growth partners to ensure audience strategies align with storytelling objectives and campaign goals.
- Coordinate with internal collaborators and external platform partners to improve audience efficiency.
- Support privacy compliance initiatives and the adoption of privacy-enhancing technologies across paid social campaigns.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing paid social campaigns (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
- Solid understanding of audience segmentation and storytelling in digital marketing.
- Hands-on experience in campaign setup, tagging, targeting, and optimization.
- Familiarity with DV360 and paid social certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint, TikTok Academy).
- Ability to bridge creative strategy with audience data and insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working across cross-functional marketing teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SQL, R, Python, VBA, or a backend programming language.
- Experience with creative testing and optimization in social platforms.
- Familiarity with data visualization & dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) for campaign storytelling.
- Knowledge of marketplace dynamics and user segmentation for brand storytelling.
- Certifications in advertising or analytics solutions (e.g., Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Exposure to clean rooms or other privacy-enhancing technologies, such as Mobile Measurement Providers.
- Understanding of two-sided marketplaces and the value of user segmentation.
- Understanding of Machine Learning principles & use cases.
Team & Environment
You'll be part of the Customer Personalization & Intelligence team, reporting to the Director of Global Media Investment & Platforms. This role works across a variety of partners including technical teams and ad platform partners.
