Join Simply Wall St as our Audience Development Manager and help us empower 6.5 million users across 180 countries. Your mission is to transform our research process into a collaborative community experience by sparking a movement of narrative creation and conversation among investors.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute strategies to nudge investors from passive viewers to active creators of their own investment narratives.
- Foster peer-to-peer engagement by driving follows, comments, and connections within the community.
- Moderate and curate conversations to ensure an informed, respectful, and data-driven environment.
- Manage a network of external creators and analysts to add depth and diversity to community discussions.
- Collaborate with the Community Product team to refine engagement loops and improve the user experience.
- Own and evolve key community newsletters, including Weekly Picks and Community Digest.
- Showcase top community narratives across social platforms to attract new investors to the ecosystem.
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to test and optimize campaigns that convert casual readers into active community members.
- Proactively identify and recruit new affiliate partners (influencers, financial bloggers, YouTubers, educators) aligned with our mission.
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing partners, providing assets, product education, and support.
- Work with partners to create ‘Narrative-led’ content that feels like a natural extension of the community experience.
- Measure and report on partner-driven acquisition, cost per acquisition, and ROI to scale the program.
What We're Looking For
- You are an experienced investor with a strong grasp of financial markets and the mindset of long-term investors.
- You have managed and grown online communities on platforms like Discord, Reddit, or dedicated forums.
- You are familiar with X/Twitter, Substack, and Reddit as acquisition tools, and have experience with marketing automation tools like Braze.
- You can build an engagement strategy from scratch and use data to prove its effectiveness.
- You are a gifted copywriter who can translate complex investing concepts into engaging content.
- You can juggle campaign planning, stakeholder coordination, and performance reporting effectively.
- You genuinely care about investor education and empowering the ‘everyday’ investor.
- You enjoy working at the intersection of Marketing and Product.
- You aren't afraid to test new ideas, fail fast, and iterate based on data.
