ASUS is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive unit and revenue growth for our Education product portfolio within the top public K12 school districts in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. You will be responsible for managing sales and business development across an assigned account base, focusing on Chromebooks, Windows Notebooks & Desktops, and Accessories.
What You'll Do
- Develop go-to-market strategies for ASUS products and services with Sales and Product Management teams.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities within assigned school districts.
- Build and maintain ASUS relationships and engagement across all levels of the assigned account base.
- Execute a business plan focused on driving unit and revenue growth against defined targets.
- Maintain multiple contacts within a large customer base, providing routine communication about products, programs, offers, and promotions.
- Travel to customer locations to conduct face-to-face trainings and meetings to develop ASUS business.
- Conduct weekly, routine onsite engagement to drive awareness and visibility for short-term and long-term sales opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years of prior Outside Sales experience in IT Hardware, Software, or Services.
- High understanding of Public Sector sales and customer acquisition processes.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to articulate the ASUS value proposition and influence at all levels, both with customers and internally.
- Expert knowledge of industry trends, competition, customer buying patterns, and marketing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organizations.
- Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-direct and work remotely.
- High proficiency with the MS Office suite.
Nice to Have
- Named Account relationships and knowledge of the K12 market.
- Experience in business plan development and execution.
- Demonstrated quota achievement.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Distribution/Reseller Channels and End Customers.
- Technical proficiency in Computer Hardware/IT environments.
- Proven ability to sell in complex and dynamic situations.
Team & Environment
You will be assigned to the Education Sales Team within the ASUS Systems Business Group.

The final salary amount will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate relative to the role.
