Dallas Baptist University is hiring a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting for its Carter School of Business, with a start date of June 2026. This role is central to delivering high-quality accounting education and integrating the University's Christian faith perspective into the curriculum.
What You'll Do
- Fulfill responsibilities and duties in accordance with a twelve-month contract.
- Carefully integrate the Christian faith into the subject matter.
- Teach and provide leadership for undergraduate and graduate Accounting courses.
- Engage in curriculum updates, revisions, and new course development.
- Use instructional techniques aligned with the University's mission.
- Collaborate with deans and department chairs on teaching assignments and duties.
- Develop course syllabi available to students two weeks before the first class.
- Participate and support all commencement services.
- Serve on committees.
- Participate in professional development and scholarly activities.
- Maintain at least ten (10) office hours each semester.
- Advise and mentor students.
- Attend all university and School of Business faculty meetings.
