West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) seeks an Assistant Professor of Management for a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track position. You'll join the Department of Accounting and Management within the School of Business, contributing to our mission of creating a better future through education.
What You'll Do
- Teach 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester across various business-related courses
- Deliver courses in both in-person and online formats using Blackboard, adhering to Quality Matters Standards
- Provide student advising, support recruitment and retention efforts, and participate in curriculum assessment
- Engage with student organizations and fulfill other faculty-related duties
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s in Business Administration or an equivalent degree
- Evidence of scholarly promise, excellent communication skills, and a student-centered teaching philosophy
Nice to Have
- A Doctorate in Management or a related field, or ABD with completion by May 2026
- Prior college-level teaching experience and active use of technology in instruction
