Dallas Baptist University's Carter School of Business (CSB) is hiring a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing to begin in June 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, engage in curriculum development, and thoughtfully integrate the Christian faith into their subject matter. This is a twelve-month contract position where excellence in teaching is the highest priority.
What You'll Do
- Fulfill duties according to a twelve-month contract.
- Teach and provide leadership for marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Integrate the Christian faith into your subject matter.
- Engage in curriculum updates, revisions, and new course development.
- Use instructional techniques aligned with DBU's purpose and course goals.
- Work with deans and department chairs on teaching assignments and duties.
- Develop and distribute course syllabi at least two weeks before the first class.
- Participate in and support all commencement services.
- Serve on university committees.
- Participate in annual professional development and maintain scholarly engagement.
- Maintain at least ten (10) office hours each semester.
- Advise and mentor students.
- Attend all university and School of Business faculty meetings.

- A terminal degree in Marketing or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the university level.

- A commitment to professional development and scholarly activity.

- Department Chair or Program Director experience.

You will work closely with deans and department chairs within the Carter School of Business.
