The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine is hiring a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences. This role involves establishing a research program focused on musculoskeletal disease or regenerative medicine, contributing to veterinary education, and engaging in collaborative science.
What You'll Do
- Establish and maintain an energetic, well-funded research program.
- Engage in interdisciplinary and collaborative research.
- Participate in training professional and graduate students, including teaching within the professional veterinary curriculum.
What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. in anatomy, cell/molecular biology, physiology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated excellence in both research and education.
Nice to Have
- Possession of an additional medical degree (e.g., D.V.M., V.M.D., or M.D.).
Team & Environment
You will be a member of the Basic Medical Sciences department and the newly established Purdue Center for Musculoskeletal Engineering (PCME).
