APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is hiring an Area Sales Manager for Leviat, a leading provider of technical products and innovative construction solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for commercial consulting and support of all customers in defined target groups within a given geographical sales territory.
What You'll Do
- Provide commercial consulting and support to customers such as trading companies, the precast concrete industry, construction companies and their sites, and metal and steel construction companies within your territory.
- Analyze your territory regarding market conditions, competition, and Leviat's positioning.
- Report results in monthly reports and identify new application areas for Leviat products.
- Conduct commercial training on the use of Leviat products and the sales concept.
- Acquire new customers in your geographical sales territory, including negotiating terms subject to sales management approval.
- Track projects through to order placement.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in business administration, commercial training (industrial or wholesale merchant), a Dipl.-Ing. degree, or completed training as a construction technology technician.
- Professional experience, ideally in outside or inside sales.
- Product knowledge, construction technical knowledge, familiarity with competitor products and their features, and presentation skills.
- A genuine enjoyment of field sales work and interacting with people.
- Strong team and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently.
