3M is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive the growth of our Personal Safety (PPE) solutions in Kalimantan and East Indonesia. You will be the primary interface for end customers, users, and channel partners across key industrial segments, delivering solutions that align with 3M's core value of safety.
What You'll Do
- Develop new opportunities and add-on business across the Kalimantan and East Indonesia territory.
- Proactively engage with Priority Accounts through direct customer contact.
- Collaborate with Channel partners to prioritize product specification efforts and monitor contractual tenders.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience diploma.
- 3-5 years of field sales experience.
- Significant experience working with industrial customers, particularly in Mining & Oil and Gas, Cement, Construction, and Chemicals.
- The ability to make formal presentations to all levels of an organization, customers, and peers.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- An independent work style, able to operate in the field with minimal supervision.
- Fluent proficiency in English.

- Certification as an AK3 or any formal safety education.
- A self-driven, highly motivated mindset with initiative and a strong desire to learn.

This position is based locally in Balikpapan.
