Flowers Foods is hiring an Area Sales Director to lead and support our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) sales operations and Independent Distributors (IDs). You will be instrumental in empowering IDs to manage customer relationships, expand their market presence, and drive sales growth across their territories.
What You'll Do
- Support DSD sales and the efforts of Independent Distributors (IDs).
- Help IDs manage customer relationships and engage in active sales activities.
- Assist IDs in growing their customer base and seeking new selling opportunities.
- Track sales data and analyze performance metrics.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key accounts to ensure effective promotion and display execution.
- Utilize digital tools to showcase execution wins and identify opportunities for continued growth.
- Work with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales.
- Use consumer insights to adjust and improve sales strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
- Valid Driver's License and a Safe Driving Record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Nice to Have
- 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
- Prior experience as a sales representative, distributor, or in another sales position.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sales or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Team & Environment
You will work directly with a Market Vice President and collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to analyze opportunities and drive results.

- Salary range: $68,000 - $78,000
