Solenis is looking for an Area Manager, Food & Beverage to lead and develop a sales team within the Southeast region. You will be responsible for driving business outcomes and serving as a trusted technical and commercial partner to customer QA, operations, and food safety teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead, support, and develop a team of roughly 5-8 sales representatives to achieve targeted total gross profit.
- Partner with your team to deliver on district sales goals and budget commitments.
- Coach and mentor others by providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
- Foster consistency by ensuring alignment with systems, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, manage costs, and strengthen business processes.
- Implement and support performance planning and development conversations.
- Collaborate closely with key customers, large/local accounts, and Key Account Managers.
- Serve as a trusted technical and commercial partner to customer QA, operations, and food safety teams.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on, practical experience with intervention applications in beef and/or poultry processing.
- Real-world experience supporting or managing intervention applications used directly on product during processing.
- Knowledge of Cleaning & Disinfection (C&D), Water Treatment, and Food Safety.
- A college degree.
- Experience selling in a B2B environment (specialty chemical sales preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience leading or managing a sales team.

Compensation ranges from $105,600.00 to $176,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses.

This is a remote position based in the Southeast region of the United States.
