Support customers across Europe by delivering hands-on expertise for semiconductor process control tools, ensuring optimal performance and integration into manufacturing workflows. This role plays a key technical and strategic function, working directly with end users to maximize tool utilization and support long-term adoption.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Application Manager to support existing and upcoming tool installations
- Visit customer facilities to conduct on-site qualifications and ensure systems meet technical specifications
- Identify and communicate new application use cases that expand the value of deployed systems
- Deliver technical training and troubleshooting support to improve customer experience
- Collect and relay field feedback to internal engineering and product teams for future enhancements
- Support sales initiatives with technical demonstrations and application-based value propositions
- Coordinate with global application teams to align on study execution and timelines
- Present software and tool advancements through on-site and remote technical sessions
Requirements
- University or engineering school degree in physics, chemistry, engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 3 to 15 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, particularly in metrology or inspection environments
- Proven background in process engineering or application support roles within the semiconductor industry
- Strong familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes and process control methodologies
- Experience operating and supporting metrology or inspection equipment
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Highly organized, independent, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel extensively—up to 70% of time across Europe
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with statistical process control, tool matching, spectra modeling, or defect and yield management systems
- Familiarity with software platforms used in process control and factory analytics
