What You'll Do
In this role, you will lead efforts to enhance organizational performance by evaluating current workflows and designing targeted improvements. You'll work across departments to identify inefficiencies, apply Lean principles, and implement changes that improve service delivery and reduce costs.
You will design and deliver training programs that build process improvement skills among staff and faculty, using methods such as coaching, workshops, and group instruction. Your work will support the development of measurable outcomes, ensuring initiatives align with strategic goals.
You'll facilitate improvement projects by defining problems, collecting and analyzing data, and applying appropriate tools to drive results. Collaboration with Lean practitioners is essential to establish metrics that accurately reflect performance gains.
Additionally, you will mentor team members, contribute to benchmarking activities, and stay current with industry trends to ensure best practices are integrated into ongoing efforts.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in education, business, industrial engineering, or a related field
- Have at least two years of experience in training, organizational development, or process consulting
- Demonstrate expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement frameworks
- Show a track record of leading process optimization projects from start to completion
- Possess strong analytical abilities and project management experience
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and influence decision-making
- Be proficient with data analysis tools used to assess process performance
Preferred Qualifications
- A master’s degree is advantageous
- Healthcare sector experience is highly valued
