Role Overview
This field-based position plays a key role in advancing application development for water quality solutions across the UK and Ireland. You will act as a technical advisor to both sales teams and customers, identifying opportunities to improve processes and optimize product performance. Based in Great Britain, you will support regional operations with a focus on industrial and municipal water treatment environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to uncover optimization opportunities and support technical aspects of customer proposals
- Identify and develop new applications for water analysis products in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders
- Deliver technical training sessions, particularly for sales account managers and support associates
- Champion technical excellence both internally and with customer organizations
- Monitor regulatory developments, market trends, and competitor activity in industrial and municipal water sectors
- Collaborate with product management to support successful product launches in regional markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients to drive project success
- Work alongside process and systems specialists to support site assessments and project planning
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication abilities and a solid foundation in water and wastewater treatment systems. Prior experience—typically between three and five years—in roles related to water quality instrumentation, utilities, industrial operations, consulting, or contracting is essential. Familiarity with monitoring technologies, SCADA/PLC systems, or process control environments is highly beneficial.
Work Environment and Travel
This role operates primarily in the field, requiring 2–3 days of weekly travel across Great Britain and Ireland, including occasional overnight stays. Remote working is supported, and travel expenses are covered. The position is ideally suited for professionals located within Great Britain.
