Responsibilities
- Deliver direct clinical instruction to nursing students during rotations
- Travel regularly to assigned clinical sites across Central U.S. states
- Evaluate student performance in clinical settings using established criteria
- Collaborate with site coordinators and faculty to align clinical experiences with curriculum goals
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and program standards during clinical sessions
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on clinical skills and professional behavior
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and evaluations
- Support student development through mentoring and skill reinforcement
- Participate in faculty meetings and training sessions
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Communicate regularly with program leadership about student progress
- Address student concerns or performance issues in a timely manner
- Model professional nursing standards during all clinical activities
- Stay current with changes in nursing practice and education standards
- Assist in the development of clinical evaluation tools
- Coordinate scheduling with clinical partners and academic calendars
- Promote patient safety and ethical practices in student training
- Uphold institutional policies during on-site instruction
- Contribute to program improvement through feedback and data reporting
- Maintain active nursing licensure and clinical competence
