HP is seeking an Android Systems Expert to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable software systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure and ensure system efficiency, reliability, and performance.

What You'll Do

Oversee the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes.
Optimize software systems for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
Gather system engineering requirements by working with engineering groups and other stakeholders.
Lead multiple project teams of other software systems engineers through all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms.
Manage and expand relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design.
Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with guidelines and standards.
Provide domain-specific expertise and software systems leadership to cross-organization projects.
Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects.
Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

What We're Looking For

A Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
7-10 years of work experience, preferably in systems engineering, computer programming, or a related field.

Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
