Cognizant is looking for a Lead Android Developer to join our Digital Engineering practice, focused on developing high-performing, scalable enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team working on high-demand applications, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable software.
What You'll Do
- Design, code, and test rich, interactive customer experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
- Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in native iOS and/or Android development.
- Proficiency in native iOS and/or Android programming languages (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin).
- Strong understanding of mobile development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
