The Senior Android Engineer will design, develop, and test Android applications as part of a cross-functional digital software team. This role works within an agile framework to deliver enterprise-grade mobile solutions, partnering with product managers, designers, and clients to shape technical direction and ensure high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and validate engaging and interactive mobile user experiences.
- Work with product, design, and client teams to define, clarify, and improve software requirements.
- Take technical ownership of specific features or modules and guide implementation.
- Diagnose and fix advanced software defects and performance issues.
- Engage in peer code reviews and uphold consistent coding standards.
- Support system architecture planning and contribute to technical design conversations.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in native iOS or Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in native mobile programming languages including Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Swift.
- Solid grasp of mobile development lifecycle, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in team settings.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without any need for current or future sponsorship.
