Join Bupa ANZ as a Senior Software Engineer - Android and be an integral part of our Digital Mobile Core Tech team. You'll leverage your expertise in modern Android native development to meet business expectations and work with feature teams to build new and enhance existing mobile features.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end technical solutions for the mobile platform.
- Provide constructive feedback on others' solution designs to ensure they meet operational needs.
- Collaborate with feature teams on implementing new and existing features for the mobile client.
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline.
- Minimum experience in a similar role.
- At least 4 years of experience with Android native Kotlin technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to go the extra mile to achieve business outcomes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other mobile development languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, or .Net Xamarin.
- Knowledge and experience with REST Services and Azure.
