Join a mission-driven team building mobile solutions that expand access to mental health care. As a Staff Mobile Engineer, you'll architect and implement our initial mobile applications from scratch, setting the foundation for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native. Your work will directly influence how patients and providers engage with our digital services.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end development of mobile applications, defining core architecture and implementation strategies
- Establish coding standards, testing protocols, and best practices for mobile development
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver intuitive, patient-focused experiences
- Integrate native modules for iOS and Android to enhance performance and functionality
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, scalable mobile deployments
- Help guide the long-term mobile vision and technical roadmap
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on mobile development
- 3+ years of hands-on React Native experience
- Working knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java for native mobile components
- Proven experience shipping production-grade mobile applications from concept to release
- Experience implementing CI/CD workflows for mobile platforms
Preferred Background
- Background as an early or founding engineer in a fast-growing startup environment
- Experience mentoring developers and helping grow engineering teams
- Track record of launching 0→1 mobile products
