Standard Chartered is hiring an Analyst PMO

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced Analyst PMO to take full accountability for PMO functions within the Aspire GCFO Change PMO Team. You will own all project processes, budget controls, and governance for an assigned Journey from conception through post-implementation review.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation as per Change Delivery Standards.
  • Allocate resources to project activities and tasks as required.
  • Ensure project financials are always current and accurate.
  • Create monthly forecasts in collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure variance stays below 5%.
  • Establish and execute a communication strategy to keep all stakeholders updated.
  • Ensure the delivery of project benefits as per the execution document.
  • Provide detailed weekly and monthly project updates and reports.
  • Support ad hoc requests from the Program office, project managers, and workstream leads.
  • Ensure project hygiene and governance are consistently maintained.
  • Manage resource availability and allocation effectively.
  • Ensure KPIs for all assigned projects remain green across all parameters.
  • Manage stakeholders through communication, issue remediation, and risk management.
  • Take overall responsibility for the project lifecycle—initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure—within Clarity.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties to raise purchase orders and manage invoice receipts.
  • Identify and manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID), ensuring timely updates and escalations.
  • Define projects in line with Programme strategy and review/prioritize throughout the project life for alignment.
  • Ensure development of benefit profiles and active management of benefit realisation.
  • Ensure robust programmatic controls for resources, finances, schedule, and quality, using automated tooling (Clarity).
  • Manage interdependencies with other projects and programmes effectively.
  • Oversee ongoing management of project capitalisation ratios and forecasts.
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding high ethical standards, including regulatory and business conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.

What We're Looking For

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience within banks, Financial Institutions, or Consulting firms.
  • Strong expertise in project management, particularly in Project Financials, Governance, RAID, and Resource management.
  • Hands-on experience with a PPM application, specifically Clarity.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, autonomous, and multi-tasking professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Graduate degree.

Nice to Have

  • Professional certification such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or an Agile certification.
