Hala is hiring an AML/CTF Senior Reporting Officer

Role OverviewAs the AML/CTF Senior Reporting Officer, you will lead the full lifecycle of suspicious transaction reporting, from detection through submission and follow-up. You will serve as the main contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring accurate, timely, and defensible reporting in alignment with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end reporting processes including transaction assessment, investigation, report drafting, submission, and post-submission coordination
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies such as SAMA and FIU for all reporting matters
  • Respond promptly and accurately to regulatory inquiries, inspections, and information requests
  • Maintain a comprehensive Reporting Register with full documentation, audit trail, and tracking of feedback and decisions
  • Ensure timely identification and escalation of suspicious activity in compliance with regulatory timelines
  • Produce high-quality, evidence-based reports with clear narratives suitable for regulatory review
  • Develop and manage management information systems, dashboards, and reporting tools for real-time oversight
  • Prepare periodic summaries and executive-level presentations on reporting trends, risks, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate across AML functions—monitoring, sanctions, and reporting—to ensure consistent standards
  • Analyze regulatory feedback and implement corrective actions to strengthen reporting accuracy
  • Identify weaknesses in reporting workflows, data quality, or controls, and lead process enhancements
  • Ensure complete documentation and readiness for audits or regulatory reviews at any time
  • Advance automation and integration between reporting activities and AML systems
  • Guarantee access to necessary data sources to support effective reporting decisions
  • Apply advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to build reporting databases, trackers, and automated outputs
  • Create polished, professional presentations for board and senior management audiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in AML/CTF within a regulated financial environment
  • Solid grasp of AML/CTF risk evaluation principles
  • Experience developing and maintaining reporting dashboards and management information systems
  • Proven ability to manage, analyze, and archive large datasets
  • Background in drafting policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
  • Track record preparing recurring reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Experience conducting internal compliance assessments across departments
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English
