Signature Aviation USA, LLC is looking for an Airside Experience Specialist to be the face of our private aviation terminal. You will deliver a seamless, personalized, and welcoming experience for every guest, crew member, and aircraft, combining exceptional hospitality with hands-on operational support.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently per established policies and SOPs.
- Collaborate with team members, guests, and crew to ensure service needs are met, including fueling, de-icing, lavatory services, ground power, parking, marshalling, and towing.
- Proactively prepare for arriving/departing aircraft, identify and perform open job tasks, and immediately speak up about observed safety concerns.
- Operate and drive ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, and stair trucks.
- Load and unload luggage and cargo into and out of aircraft and other transportation.
- Provide professional and friendly guest service with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Offer safe, convenient, and courteous transportation when driving shuttle vehicles.
- Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations.
- Perform fuel handling, including quality control, receipt, inventory, and accurate documentation.
- Understand, comply with, and enforce all operational, safety, and guest service requirements.
- Stop work when an unsafe condition is likely to cause harm and report concerns.
- Follow emergency response procedures during critical events.
- Understand, comply with, and enforce all security (physical, cyber, and data) protocols.
- Create accurate records for time worked and activities performed.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, and airport security badge requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
- Excellent vision and coordination to move/direct aircraft and inspect aircraft fuel. Ability to pass a color vision test.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) may be required in some locations.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and follow directions from management.
- Excellent guest service skills with an energetic, outgoing, and guest-obsessed personality.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English for safety and operational tasks.
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, etc.).
- Must be able to physically enter/exit and operate motor vehicles and ground support equipment.
- Must be able to perform various functions safely from elevated heights.
- Ability to carry out multi-step instructions and deal with standardized situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to use a computer and email, learn company software, and pass computer-based training.
- Ability to successfully and timely complete Signature’s training programs.
Nice to Have
- Three (3) to six (6) months of experience and/or training in aviation, customer service, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
