Signature Aviation USA, LLC is hiring an Airside Experience Specialist to be the welcoming face of our private aviation terminal. You will blend exceptional hospitality with hands-on operational support to ensure a seamless, personalized experience for every guest and crew member. This role requires schedule flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and you will thrive working outdoors in an active aircraft environment.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently according to established policies.
- Collaborate with team members, guests, and crew to meet service needs including fueling, de-icing, lavatory service, ground power, parking, marshalling, and delivering catering.
- Proactively prepare for arriving and departing aircraft, perform open job tasks, and immediately report safety concerns.
- Operate ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, and stair trucks.
- Load and unload luggage and cargo to and from aircraft, terminal, and guest vehicles.
- Provide professional and friendly guest service with a consistently positive and helpful attitude.
- Drive shuttle vehicles to safely and courteously transport guests, luggage, and cargo.
- Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operational areas.
- Perform fuel handling, quality control, inventory, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Understand, comply with, and enforce all operational, safety, and guest service requirements.
- Stop work when an unsafe condition exists and report concerns to management.
- Follow emergency response procedures during critical events.
- Understand, comply with, and enforce all physical, cyber, and data security protocols.
- Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, and airport security requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
- Excellent vision and coordination for directing aircraft and inspecting fuel. Ability to pass a color vision test.
- Valid state driver’s license. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) may be required per local regulations.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and follow directions from supervision.
- Excellent guest service skills with an energetic, outgoing personality.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English for safety, operations, and documentation.
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
- Must be able to physically enter, exit, and operate motor vehicles and ground support equipment.
- Must be able to perform functions like fueling and de-icing safely from elevated heights.
- Ability to follow multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to use a computer and email, learn company software, and pass computer-based training.
- Ability to successfully complete Signature’s training programs.
Nice to Have
- Three (3) to six (6) months of experience or training in aviation, customer service, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
